Roland Aira / Boutique - Noisy Products! ?

Published on Jul 27, 2016 LektroiD

Anyone else experiencing this with their Boutiques? I haven't heard any complaints before now. Curious if this is unique to his setup for some reason.

"Over the past few years Roland have been steadily remodelling their classic series. Too good to be true? Well, these machines appear to have a big problem in the studio: Noise! I'm using shielded audio cables on all of the Boutiques, and Van Damme studio cables on the TR-8."

Roland Boutique Noise Problem - FIXED

"I recently made a video outlining a noise problem I was getting with the Boutique series. Seems I wasn't alone, so I thought I'd share how I managed to fix the problem."

  1. Try unplugging the USB power from the Boutiques and run them on batteries. Is the noise still there? If not, it's noisy USB power supplies.
