Roland SH-101 Monophonic Analog Synthesizer | Reverb Demo Video
Published on Dec 15, 2016 Reverb.com
"Crafted from 1982 to 1986, the Roland SH-101(http://bit.ly/2hAy4RX) is a 32 key analog monophonic bass synthesizer. Its distinct sound can be recognized on many techno and acid house tracks and its simple layout makes it an accessible vintage synth. We’ll give you a run through of some of its key features, including a single VCO with independent levels for square and pulse waves and a great sounding sub-oscillator.
There’s an LFO and adjustable filter with a variety of tone shaping options, and a section for adding portamento and pitch bends on the fly.
Finally, there’s a built in arpeggiator and sequencer with external clock inputs for syncing, CV/GATE Inputs and outputs, and a CVB hold pedal. If you find one with everything in tact, you’ll also have the option to use it as a keytar with an attachable hand grip.
