"The Supernova is a poly-timbral analogue modelling synth that was released in 2002 and was the grandfather of the Nova, UltraNova and MiniNova. It features 3 oscillators, 2 LFOs, 3 envelope generators, hi low and bandpass filters, a vocoder function, arpegiator, up to 16 simultaneous voices and 7 effects per voice. There are also build in drum sounds and a performance mode which can be played from the keyboard or MIDI sequence.
Everything is housed in a sleek blue package with both metal and plastic construction, a 61 note keyboard with aftertouch, and a knob for nearly every function. This synth is a total beast."
