Model D/Prophet 6/OB-6/TT-78 - Late Shift Lullaby | OB-6 & Model D - EFX
Published on Apr 27, 2017 Jae Ryan
"After the rather 'punky' jam last night I wanted to record something slow and pretty and this came out pretty quick.
OB-6 is on pad duties sequenced by the carbon and running into the bloom setting of my big sky.
Prophet 6 is on detuned melody sequenced by the carbon and running into a little bit of bigsky & el capistan.
Model D is doing lead string duties and is hitting the el capistan pretty hard. I am obsessed with that pedal!
TT-78 is just holding down a basic quirky slow jam pattern and it seems to be what it does best. Although these are quick improv jams, digging into and programming that machine has been one of my favourite machines to program ever! So easy to get humanish grooves out of.
For those of you who work late today, this is the jam for your morning coffee!"

"I've been working hard on recording songs for my actual "synth singing" project and wanted to take a break from serious recording to improvise a little jam session. The mood called for LOTS of effects.
Kilpatrick Carbon is sequencing the Model D which is running into the Strymon El Capistan. It's also sending gate to the arpeggiator on my OB-6 which is running into the Strymon Bigsky on the Magneto delayish reverb setting. Carbon is also sending clock to a very basic sequence on my TT-78 and the snare form that is hitting a Moog MF Delay VERY hard as a sort of spring reverb. Quick, sloppy, shitty and drenched in effects!"
