maple (op1 + eurorack + cassette + leaf)

"performance recorded live, no overdubs, no external looping.

first experiment with the teenage engineering op-1. twenty-four pitches programmed into an op-1 sequencer and played back in random order. microphone amplifies leaf, yahama reface cp's built-in speaker, and cassette player's built-in speaker and feeds a mutable instruments clouds. clouds is modulated by an xaoc batumi + qu-bit nano rand. the cassette loop was created by recording an earlier improvisation in the same style, played back at 2x speed. the same cassette loop was also digitized and loaded onto a qu-bit nebulae, which is triggered and modulated by batumi and nano-rand. strymon el capistan on a mixer aux send.
