This unit was recently serviced by Synth Spa. Services performed:
Voice chips restored or replaced
Chorus chips replaced
Calibrated to factory standards
Panel controls & faders rebuilt
Bender panel rebuilt
Key bed cleaned
Key contacts cleaned
Battery replaced and socket added for easy replacement
Power supply recapped
Standard three-prong IEC power jack installed
I booted into test mode and verified every voice is working correctly. This is by far the biggest problem with Juno-106s, and I can confirm that all voices are working. They should have a long life ahead of them.
I verified all panel controls are working correctly
I verified presets can be loaded. I did not verify that they can be written
I only tested the mono output jack. However, since it was just serviced, there's no reason to think there are issues with any of the other inputs or outputs
IMPORTANT: The chorus is noisy. I have a Juno-6 and a Space Echo that use the same chorus chips, and they're all noisy, too. That's just how this chorus sounds. The service technician replaced the chips with quieter ones, so it's about as good as it can get. I'm just making a note of it here so you know what you're getting before you bid.
This auction includes:
Roland Juno-106, fully serviced
IEC power cable
Secure packaging in several layers of bubblewrap and padding (no packing peanuts!)"
