"A downloadable pack of 32 patches for the Roland JX-8P (or the PG-8X) in the sysex format.

Download it here:

https://thepatchbay.co.uk/index.php?r...

These patches are created by me and some of the sounds is taken directly from my album "Those Days" which is a tribute to the glorious 80s synth-pop and synthesizer sounds used in tv/movies at the time. I use the 8P extensivly on that album.

The album can be purchased here:
https://espenkraft.bandcamp.com/album...

You can also stream it on Spotify. Click the Spotify icon at the top of my channel graphics. Plese follow me in there if you do. Thanks! :)

You will have to transfer the patches to your Roland JX-8P through midi cables. You can use a MIDI sysex transfer program like http://www.midiox.com/ or https://www.bome.com/products/sendsx

The patches is also compatible with the excellent VST plugin PG-8X. That plugin can be downloaded through this site:

https://sites.google.com/site/mlvst0/

If you use the PG-8X all you have to do is load the patches into the PG-8X from the folder on your computer. A 3 sec. operation."
