Note the back of it. Via the seller: "I bought this used on ebay about 10 years ago and it was rusty then and it's still rusty now. It has always worked perfectly and even the display is still nice and bright. I don't know how it got rusty in the first place but it doesn't seem to effect the performance of the synth. It's a great little synth with a lot of cool sounds in it. I just haven't been using it much in the last several years."
