This video shows filtering samples from Akai MPC 1000, using Mr.Hyde the bottom and high pass filter on samples, and adding the typical Analogue Solutions character.
Source - Sample from Akai MPC 1000 to the filter from the filter directly on the mixer and added a slight delay.
Kick from Mpc out 2 and hat from out 3 directly to the mixer. all not mastering"
