Analogue improvisation with Makenoise 0-Coast, Korg SQ-1, Strymon BigSky, Red Panda bitmap

Theme is a single take recording, no editing. 2 background elements were added post recording: high-pitched ‘chirps’ and a low ‘heartbeat’. Both elements derived from the original patch. The ‘heartbeat’ is self-patched.

SQ-1 has a series of pitches programmed across all 16 steps. Most pitches span more than one step and this interacts with the cycling Slope generator and Contour with variable decay on the 0-Coast to create the variety of note durations.
