"EM-25 is a polyphonic synth specialising in strings, organ and brass. Like other such instruments, it was of the 'divide-down' variety to give a totally polyphonic generator through a single filter, amp and envelope.

So that you can have the idea of what this synth was built to do, I have had a go at translating the writing on the panel from the Russian:
Panel (above keyboard):

Cеть - On/off switch
Стрингс - Strings
Aтака - Attack
Спад - Decay
Орган - Organ
Селектор - Select switch
Стрингс - Strings (the sliders underneath control the string section register, contrabass, cello and violins)
Орган - Organ (again, sliders control the register)

Духовые - Brass
Вибрато - Vibrato
Духовые - Brass
Скор задерж - Fast sustain(or delay)
Модулятор - Modulator
Огибающая - envelope
Фильтер - Filter
Мод Срез Акц - (These are abreviations for filter parameters) Modulation Cut-off Accent

Writing left of the keyboard:

Транспозер - Transpose
Vремя – Time
Инт – Abbreviated for ‘Interval’
Громкость - Volume
Okтава – Оctave
Транспозер - Transpose

The synthesizer operates on 220 Volts. The United States need a transformer for110-Volt ( not included)"
