This synth was manufactured in 1983 by Fender in Japan. It is very clean, and a fine example of a Polaris which has not seen gig action. You may be hard pressed to find a cleaner Polaris on the market anywhere.
This particular Polaris has a small bit of oxidation (rust spots) on top right corner of panel. It's not very noticeable, but see pics. The exterior is otherwise 99%+ pristine and in nearly-perfect condition for a circa 1985-86 vintage instrument.
This is a six-voice (12 VCOs total) synth with a 61-key velocity sensitive keyboard. It has selective pitch bend, which lets you bend some notes in a chord while keeping others fixed. It has a MIDI interface, and includes a built-in sequencer."
