"The Moonwind is a true analog stereo filter with built-in step sequencer, a fantastic sounding digital effects chip, 2 LFOs and envelope modulation.

Everything is storable and controllable via MIDI.

You can control the Moonwind like a synth with midi notes and play tunes on the filters when they whistle in self-resonance.

The sequencer can record the Cutoff, Q and Resonance per step and filter, turning a stereo filter with analogue feedback effects into a creative instrument

This makes the Moonwind to an easy-to-use and high-quality analog sounding sound engine that is playable like a synth and can be seamlessly integrated into a DAW recording system.

specifications

Two true analog low-noise multimode filters
OTA technology *
Per filter are Q and Resonance separately adjustable **
Lowpass, Highpass, Bandpass and Notch are adjustable per filter
The filters can be interconnected ***
Pro filter an LFO modulating the cutoff ****
For each filter Envelope Amount, Envelope is generated from the audio signal using an analogue envelope follower
Inputs are Hi-Z and can also directly amplify guitar signals

Digital effects chip with 15 algorithms
Analog FX feedback to create tape delays and waveguides
Three parameters per FX algorithm
The effects programs include Chorus, Flanger, Tremolo, Reverb, Delay and some funky programs
Built-in noise generator

Sequencer can record Cutoff, Q and Res separately per step and filter
Maximum 64 steps per pattern
A maximum of 16 steps per bar (then a maximum of 4 bars), bars can be set dynamically according to the number of steps per bar
Clock divider can max. Dissolve 32tel per bar
Record / Undo function to record filter curves with the knobs
Sequencer and LFOs are syncable Midi Clock
Midi notes control the cutoff of the filters, CCs the remaining parameters

Cutoff, Q and Resonance are designed as classical potentiometers
Stable metal axis potentiometers and encoders with axis guidance
2x24 character LCD display
OS is updatable via MIDI
All parameters are storable

* Operational Transconductance Amplifier, ie it is not a transistor cascade (Moog filter) as in the T-resonator. This ensures excellent vibration behavior over the entire audio range of 10Hz-30kHz.

** If Resonance = 0, then Q = Max will produce an extremely narrow band filter without self-resonance (sine wave). If Resonance> 0 then Q> 0 must be used for the filter to self-tune.

*** Stereo, Parallel (both filters mixed to mono), Serial (both filters in series), Feedback (part of the output is cross-fed to the other filter), and Feedback Parallel (the same as feedback, only in addition to both mixed together)

**** LFO waveforms are Saw Up, Saw Down, Triangle, Sine, Rectangle 50/50%, Rectangle 12.5 / 87.5%, Rectangle 25/75%, Rectangle 75/25%, Rectangle 87.5 / 12.5%."
