Some of you have been asking us about this new feature and we are excited to let you know that MD-1 is actually modular.MD-1 mainboard and components are designed to be easily rearranged by any of you with just a screwdriver and a minimal set of skills.
So what does it means? If you're feeling that your MD-1 needs a different layout just disassemble the case and rearrange the components.

How can I get some extra components?
We are going to sell extra components to those who already have their controller and need some extra components for more versatility. We are actually thinking to add this new reward to our Kickstarter campaign.
Is this already working?
All the hardware is already done! We are working to add an affordable alternative for sensing each component, so every time a user rearranges MD-1 components our MIDI editor software automatically reads the controller's new layout. This is truly important for us, since we want it to be very simple for you every time you want to rearrange the layout."
