"This Kawai K5000S synth is in very good condition and sounds amazing. Additive synthesis has a unique way of approaching sound creation and is still considered a rare approach for commercial keyboards. This synth is a classic. It features 61 velocity keys with after touch, a lighted display screen, data wheel. 58 buttons and 12 knobs for real time manipulation and sound creation. There are a large number of web sites you can check out that go into great detail about the specifics of this keyboard and additive synthesis in general including polynomial.com, Wikipedia, and encyclotronic.com. The keyboard has the original internal battery and I have not attempted to change it. From what I can tell from searching on the web, the K5000S doesn't use one of those standard CR2032 disc batteries that are easy to change. If you're into vintage synths you are most likely aware of this. The keyboard itself weighs 29lbs. Due to its dimensions (41L x 13W x 4.5 D) I will be using UPS to complete the packaging and ship."
