MOOG MEMORYMOOG - Presets, Sounds & Patches 【SYNTH DEMO】

Published on Dec 5, 2018 synth4ever

"Synth demo of the Moog Memorymoog analog synthesizer, filmed at the Synth Palace in Montreal, Quebec Canada (www.synthpalace.com or .net).

Introduced in 1982, the Moog Memorymoog synth has 6-voices of polyphony, MIDI and is well known for creating huge and powerful sounds. It is often described as being 6 Minimoogs in a single unit, and some may consider the new Moog One synthesizer as the spiritual successor to the Memorymoog.

The Moog Memorymoog features 3 VCOs per voice (Curtis CEM 3340), 1 LFO, a resonant 24dB Low-Pass Filter, 2 ADSR envelopes, arpeggiator, unison mode, digital pink noise, patch memory and more. For example, VCO 3 can be used to modulate various parameters to create FM-like timbres.

Some Moog Memorymoogs have a history of being unstable/tuning issues, but there have been upgrades including the Memorymoog Plus, and the LAMM rebuild from Lintronics which completely modernize and resolve such issues.

This Moog Memorymoog synth demo features some ambient sounds, patches and presets from the Memorymoog analog synth from Moog including pads, leads, noise, and soundscapes.

All sounds are from the Moog Memorymoog synthesizer with some delay from Strymon El Capistan effects pedal."
