To connect the Continuumini into another device that uses a 5 pin MIDI IN/OUT/THRU requires:
ReplyDelete1. A specialized TRS/MIDI cable sold only from Haken Audio (which is sold out!)? Are there any other companies that sell a compatible cable? Would this be called a type A or a type B cable or something entirely different?
2. In order to plug the Continuumini into another 5 pin MIDI device (e.g. a Roland RC-500 looper) do I need to purchase yet another intermediate electronic device such as a micro CVC of one type or another?
It is a bit of a handicap if specialized or add on devices are required for signal path purposes.
