The Pittsburgh Modular Synthesizers Microvolt 3900 is a semi-modular desktop synthesizer that takes a creative and unconventional approach to the analog monosynth. The analog audio engine of the Microvolt 3900 feeds a West Coast-style wavefolder, enabling a layer of additive synthesis alongside the classic subtractive synthesis waveforms. Although it's patched internally and doesn't require patch cables to create sounds, Microvolt 3900 includes a 39-point eurorack-friendly patchbay for deeper experimentation and complete signal routing control of audio and modulation options.
