STAR WARS Lightsaber AMSR // Soma Labs Lyra 8 Drone Synth Demo

Published on Jul 31, 2019 Ron Cavagnaro

"Programming and Improvisation by Ron Cavagnaro. All of the sound you hear is 100% from the standalone unit. Since this is improvised, a few parts might not sound exactly like lightsabers , but watch as I mold them into the sound eventually.

ASMR signifies the subjective experience of 'low-grade euphoria' characterized by 'a combination of positive feelings and a distinct static-like tingling sensation on the skin'."

  1. Wouldn't the electronics from a toy Lightsaber from the discount bin at the mall suffice? If you want a stand-alone Lightsaber synthesizer. Also if you want that authentic TIE fighter foo, they've already developed the circuitry for that, for a couple of bucks. I'm not knocking the effort. I have a project that involves a sound I have heard no one else try to synthesize, so it seems worth the effort. But if someone has already been there, eh, you know, reinventing the wheel...?
