Why Modular? - Thoughts on Eurorack Vs Standalone Synths

Published on Aug 4, 2019 DreamsOfWires

"Warning: Contains talking! This video is intended mostly for those who are curious about, or considering getting into Eurorack Modular. After having a few chats with people on YouTube about modular and conventional synths, I decided to make a video sharing my thoughts and what I like about it.
I've built my channel on the back of self-contained synths, so I appreciate that most of my audience will be more into those kinds of instruments, and I still like them too. However, there are pros and cons of both, so hopefully this video will give people who are unsure of modular something to think about.

All sounds heard in the video are from AJH Synth Eurorack modules. A version without talking will be available on my Patreon page.

If you like my videos, please consider helping me to fund the continuation and development of my channel, by supporting me on Patreon for $1 a month and gaining access to occasional exclusive content, or by purchasing my music on Bandcamp:
