"I went to Berklee College of Music from 1995-99. This was the height of the analog synth resurgence, and there was a thriving market of classic analog synths in Boston. I picked this up from an independent dealer for about $500 if I remember correctly. It looks and works today as well as it did when I got it.

While at Berklee, I got to attend a small gathering of students and faculty to hear Bob Moog speak about his storied career. I had lugged the Source to the event, so when I got to meet him and chat afterwards, I asked him to sign it. He kind of chuckled but he accommodated my request. I know the Source was not one of his originals, but it had a special place in my heart from playing a friend’s while in high school, and it still had the Moog name."
