"PAiA Electronics P9700S Analog Modular Synthesizer, also known more simply as the PAiA 9700. This is a Frac-Rack modular format, very similar to Eurorack, and occupies 3 rack spaces in a standard 19" rack. It is MIDI controlled and has a lot of power packed into such a compact unit!!There are 4 separate modules: 1. MIDI to CV, 2. VCO, 3. VCF and 4. VCA. There are many additional features included in each of these modules that make them very functional and flexible. Altogether, there is an equivalent of 15 separate modules combined within this synth, which include 2 voltage controlled oscillators, one of which can be switched to an LFO, 2 voltage controlled filters, 2 voltage controlled amplifiers, a balanced modulator, a mixer, a noise source, 2 A-R envelope generators, 1 ADSR envelope generator, MIDI to CV converter, glide processor, CV scale/offset processor and an external class II power supply."
