ReplyDeleteIt’s actually not as wide as you might think - about 34 inches. Still, desktop is probably not the right descriptive word :-)
DeleteThen, right below your listing is an OP-Z which looks like a post card in comparison. I got a vision of an elephant playing a Solaris and a mouse playing an OP-Z.

ReplyDeletethe width should be 1/3 of what it currently is.
to achieve that, better follow the example of Elektron and Hydrasynth.
keep the center display/buttons , toggle between the other sections by pressing a key,
not physical redundancy!

Yes, not really (as I said) a “desktop” design. I’ve considered such a smaller unit as you suggest, but this would require expensive re-engineering of the front panel board and cabinet.
Delete
