Original offered by Folktek for $1 million dollars. It went up for auction in 2013 and reached $39,100 with 55 bids at the time of this post. You can find previous posts featuring the Folktek Impossible Box including some demos here.

"Here is the synthesizer Arius Blaze made for himself. He spent one year of his life making this. Originally posted comically as 1 million dollars which meant "it's not for sale" but alas, in an effort to shed all worldly goods and help fund the next iteration of Folktek works, now it is for sale with a few caveats which will be listed below.
If you somehow missed this, you can read about it on the Folktek site.
Reserve is set for the bottom line.
This has a small plaque which is signed by Arius Blaze.

Buyer will pay freight charges in full and may be asked to pay above and beyond what is listed (especially if it's international) so please take that into consideration. The lid closes and it folds up into a box, by the way.

Allow 4-6 weeks to ship so that plenty of time can be taken to stabilize and secure and make sure it travels safely.

Now check it out, this is very important stuff:
There should be no expectations at all regarding the purchasing of this piece accept that you'll get the whole thing in its current condition.
You are buying this as an art object, not as a synthesizer. If you get it to make sound, that's a bonus.
It does not include a manual or any info at all on how to operate anything.
It does not include any documentation whatsoever.
The purchase includes the impossible box and a bunch of cables and that is all.
There are absolutely zero guarantees about anything at all accept that when you plug it in things will light up.
There will be no servicing in any capacity at any point in the future.
No questions will ever be answered.
One day, you may be asked by someone who runs a modern art museum if it can be placed next to a broad array of Folktek and early Arius Blaze works: hopefully you'll oblige.

That is all."
