Cameron Entzminger sent me an audio file of a Soma Lyra-8 performance to run through the Flame Mäander’s filter bank.

In this video I first fade in the various filter bank channels. Then I morph to the filter bank’s 12-track envelope sequencer, which adds rhythm to the drone and introduces stereo panning effects. The 10 filter bands above the bass frequencies are split between the left and right channels when you plug cables into both audio output sockets.
Later on, I add sequenced white noise shots from the Mäander and additional percussion from Bram Bos’ Ruismaker iOS drum machine, turning the Lyra-8 drone into some kind of dark industrial beat music.
