"Roland SH-1000 synthesizer. Vintage Analogue Synth.
Serial number 568919 which (according to various sources I've found online) means it was built in March 1977.
Monophonic, Monotimbral, proper REAL ANALOGUE synthesizer, make your own sounds!

As you might expect from a unit of this age it does show some battle scars but there are no structural problems to the chassis or cracks etc. and the sound is still delightfully analogue and crisp.
The only functional damage is to one of the front flapper switches. The "Tuba" switch has snapped off (lost in the mists of time) but the actual switch is still functional and still works if you push it with your finger. It's the outer part of the switch that is missing. You could either replace it or stick something thin in the little hole to use as a switch extension. Also, there is a small piece of plastic missing to the top of the 'pitch' and 'volume' knobs. This makes no difference at all, it's barely even noticeable..."
