JoMoX AiR Base 99 Analog Drum Synthesizer

via this auction

“There are many samples of hardware as well as main sources of Xbase09. As an analog rhythm machine, it produces a wide variety of sounds. It's basically TR -909 and 808, but it's more destructive than the original. The parameter settings are unusually wide, so there are quite a lot of abnormal sounds. Not only the weight of the kick, but also the crispness of the clap and snare. The hardware is an 8BIT sample, which is rough and noisy. It can carve high range of any song. I was able to get XBASE 999 recently, and when I compare the sounds, the direction is the same. AIRBASE 99 is louder and louder. 999 has a nuance of more sophisticated analog sound. On the other hand, the rough feeling that can be taken as noisiness may not be obtained with recent equipment. There are small scratches depending on the specifications.”
