Pianos Off -CALC- Novation SLMK3 with User chord-bank hack.

-CALC-

Recorded live Friday 14th August 2020.
Recording notes:
SL MKIII is sending clock to everything and controlling, Octatrack and Blooper.
Piano chords pre-programmed on the SL pads, with the sequencer part muted it becomes a User-chord bank.
SL MK3 keyboard set to a single zone to play (mainly) the Rhodes improv.
0-Coast - bass
Morphagene - droning chimey stuff
Stereo Dipole - medium speed LFO filter pinging
Summit - two arps set with different rhythms on two separate parts on left/right side.
Octatrack - Drums (main beat)
piano - Spitfire Cinematic Felt Piano
Yamaha CP Rhodes 1 sound bit of reverb.

Off the cuff recording of studio performance with vid, one shot video's a bit boring, especially with a lot of synthy stuff out of shot to the side. But I thought the track was alright. Could be worth listening to without the video as well.

  1. Comment from little owl: Awesome performance. Smooth flow, great improvisation and impressed by the transparency of the mix. Like how you ended the performance;) I saw that you use the Spitfire Felt Piano here - slightly off kilter question - I have this crazy idea to load those samples onto a Volca Sample to perform with it live. Would that work if I could accept the degradation of the sample rate etc.?
