"A pioneer of techno in India, Arjun Vagale continues to steer the course of the country’s underground electronic movement. Known for his intense, driven and raw sound, Arjun is one of the most prolific artists to come out of Asia, and his cutting-edge productions have seen massive global reach. Receiving numerous awards and named one of “Asia’s finest underground music exports,” Arjun is an artist, DJ, producer, live act, label owner, radio show host, and all-round music entrepreneur.
Daniel Rhode creates electronic dance music under the avatar RETCON, and has released several EPs via the slashsound label. Rhode’s recording discography includes EPs and productions on slashsound, Innova Recordings, and remixes on UPA Records. Rhode’s brutal polyrhythmic techno, created under the avatar RETCON, has been exhibited in experimental venues across the east coast, such as h0l0 (NYC), slashbang (NYC), and MASS MoCA. An Orff Schulwerk certified educator, Rhode teaches elementary music at the University Liggett School in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, with an emphasis on empowering students to create a more noisy and better world.
