"Artist and musician Emily A. Sprague creates a calming multi-sensory experience set to the ambient sounds of an original arrangement crafted with the Moog One polyphonic synthesizer.
'Chasing Light' is a short film inspired by the beauty of nature and the joy of connecting with one’s surroundings through sight and sound. To accompany Emily's dreamy soundscapes, this piece (shot primarily with Super 8mm film) takes you inside the artist’s world—her home, the ocean, the mountains. It represents a day in the life of Emily, as she shared her favorite places with us, capturing them through the lens of a camera the same way we captured her adventure.
As visuals change throughout, the synthesizer arrangement morphs to bring viewers and listeners feelings of peace and comfort.
