Magnets need to be placed on the contacts on the required step to activate the gate output. I have included many different magnetic contacts, old typewriter keys fitted with magnets, wooden dowles, coat buttons and plain bare magnets. Red leds indicate the active step.
The gate outputs is around 4.8v fitted with debounce circuit for reliable triggering.
The sequencer is powered by 12vdc 1A power supply, the speed or tempo is controlled by either the speed knob on the side panel or if the speed toggle switch is changed to the down position an external square wave from a oscillator will control the speed or tempo. Also has a clock out jack which is triggered on every step.
All jacks are 3.5mm mono.
The machine is approximately 900mm long, 450mm high, 165mm wide and roughly 10kg.
This is a handmade device and every step was tested and working at the time of this listing, buyers should be aware that it is possible with vibrations and knocks over the transportation soldering joints may come loose and take a step out. Therefore it is recommended to only consider purchasing if you have basic electronics and soldering skills or know someone that does, as a some point the device will probably need some attention to keep everything operating perfectly."
