"Table of contents below! In the early 90s, cheap Sound Blaster cards and Sound Canvas clones introduced quite a lot of people to electronic music production, but it would still take another 5 years before digital audio workstations would arrive in the home studios. This was a time when you had to come up with creative solutions to improve the sound of your music without having access to professional equipment (or the internet). Here are 7 common tips I picked up in magazines of the day. ;-)
