LYRA 8 - Early Explorations (with RE-101 Space Echo)

"Lately I have been experimenting with the really beautiful but unusual 'organismic synthesizer', the Lyra-8. It's the kind of machine that feels like you can coax it to life... if you just spend enough time on it. Here is a full recording of one of my first sessions exploring its sounds, with a touch of the Roland RE-101 Space Echo for good measure. The video is fairly unpolished, to give you an idea of what it's like to sit and play with the thing for real.
I have to say a big thank you to Signal Sounds in Glasgow for very kindly letting me borrow one of their demo units to try out for myself.
