"Here's a 2-minute collection of short demos using the SynQuaNon Eurorack analog polyphonic effects modules:

0:00 Hexaphonic AutoWah Filter with pedal control
0:29 Hexaphonic Funky AutoWah Filter with Hexaphonic Fuzz
1:01 Hexaphonic VCA Sequencer-controlled Arpeggios
1:34 Hexaphonic VCF Sequencer-controlled Arpeggios with Hexaphonic Fuzz
1:46 Hexaphonic VCF and VCA controlled in tandem by Sequencer

Did you notice that the SynQuaNon modules have virtually no patch cables connected and yet are in the audio chain? That's because they are interconnected at the back of the modules using SynQuaNon hexaphonic Audio and CV bus cables! This allows for a clutter-free front panel for easy user access and control adjustment - for more information, see the SynQuaNon Blog:

Hex VCF

6-Channel VCF with master controls for hexaphonic or polyphonic processing

Overview:
The Hex VCF consists of six classic analog low pass filters with a 24dB per octave slope.

It uses the Sound Semiconductor SSI2144, an improved version of the renowned SSM-2044 IC that formed the filter section for countless vintage synths. The filter's tone is warm and creamy at low resonance settings and moves into fat, over-driven squelches at the higher end of its range.

It will self oscillate when resonance is cranked and outputs a pure sine tone. In addition, the frequency CV input tracks volt per octave allowing it to double as a sine wave VCO.

Master cutoff frequency and resonance CV inputs with controls allow for adjustment of all six channels simultaneously.

Ideal for guitar multi-channel, single-string, or hexaphonic effects processing.

Hand-assembled in the USA.

Features:
Analog 4-pole low pass filters using the Sound Semiconductor SSI2144, an improved version of the renowned SSM-2044 filter topology.
CV over frequency and resonance for each channel as well as master control.
Frequency CV tracks volt per octave.

Hex VCA

6-Channel VCA with master controls for hexaphonic or polyphonic processing

Overview:
The Hex VCA module consists of six channels of linear VCAs. It uses the Sound Semiconductor SSI2164 chips to provide six independent channels of high fidelity, low noise amplification of audio or CV signals.

Each channel has a dedicated volume level knob that becomes a CV attenuator when the channel CV is present. In addition, a master CV input allows for level control of all six VCAs at once. The master level knob behaves the same as the individual channel level controls.

The individual channel CVs and the master CV are additive, i.e. additional different modulation sources can be applied for unique effects.

Ideal for guitar multi-channel, single-string, or hexaphonic effects processing.

Hand-assembled in the USA.

Features:
Six linear VCAs
High fidelity SSI2164 based architecture
Level knobs become attenuators when CV is present

Hex Bypass

6-Channel CV-controlled True Bypass with Master control for hexaphonic or polyphonic audio and CV effects

Overview:
The Hex Bypass module consists of 6 individual true bypass channels using high-quality miniature audio relays.

Each channel can be triggered (bypassed) via a lighted pushbutton switch on the front panel, as well as a CV (0-5V positive) pulse via front panel jacks or via the SynQuaNon CV Bus on the rear (front jacks are normalized to the rear connections). Just about any CV waveform can be used to modulate the channel bypass, creating a range of interesting possibilities with "effects rhythms". Exciting!

A Master Bypass pushbutton switch, along with Master CV input jack on front panel and a 7th channel on the SynQuaNon CV Bus will invert all 6 channel states; in other words, one can use it as a Master Bypass (with for example a foot switch, just like ordinary guitar pedals) or to switch between two different 6-channel bypass patterns. Add some modulation and stand back for some incredible effects!

The back of the module features SynQuaNon Audio Bus connectors for Bypass In, Bypass Thru, Bypass Out, as well as Effect In and Effect Out. These are DC coupled so CV signals may be processed as well. As mentioned above, a SynQuaNon CV Bus connector introduces CV inputs for Channels 1-6 and Master.

Having these standardized rear bus connections is fantastic: they eliminate 37 patch cables and allow for zero clutter on the front panel.

Ideal for guitar or bass single-string processing.

High quality, high reliability miniature audio relays designed for high-volume use.
Custom microprocessor control to eliminate switch bounce and control timing.
CV triggers may be pulse, square wave or external foot switch with 0-5V output.
SynQuaNon Bus audio input, audio output, effects input, and effects output headers on the back of the module.
