UDO DMNO was created to scream!

video upload by Music Journey with Paul

"At Superbooth 2026 in Berlin, I sat down with George Hearn, founder and lead engineer of UDO Audio, outside a beautifully designed glamping tent that reflected the same attention to detail found in UDO’s instruments.

We started talking about the new DOMINO synth… but very quickly the conversation became something much deeper.

Minimalism in synth design. Playing synths for pure enjoyment. The state of flow. And the mistakes we make when thinking about creativity.

Redshift 6: Can This Analog Synth Replace Your VSTs?

video upload by Music Journey with Paul

"At Superbooth 2026, I spoke with Timo from Supercritical Synthesizers about one of the most ambitious analog polysynths on the market today - a unique 6-voice analog polysynth from Finland that takes a very different approach to synthesis.

With 96 analog oscillators, multi-timbral architecture, MPE support, evolving firmware updates and a variable character engine that can shift between different vintage-inspired flavors, Redshift 6 blurs the line between traditional analog hardware and modern software flexibility.

In this interview and sound demo we talk about who Redshift 6 is for, how its unusual interface works, the latest firmware innovations, and why some of its sounds might make you think you’re listening to a DX-style digital synth - even though the signal path remains analog.

Chapters:

Love Synthesizers First Love interview and sounds superbooth 26

video upload by Take the Fear out the Gear

"Hi everybody this time we bring you the Love Instruments first love interview and sounds at superbooth 26

First Love is a desktop 4-part multi-timbral FM Synthesizer with deep FM editing and waveshaping options. FM synthesis doesn’t always have to be DX-7-style. Love Synthesizers proves this.

Instead of dragging the user into the next operator nightmare, they’ve developed their own playful concept consisting of a 7-inch touchscreen, knobs, and buttons. This is supported by a colorful user interface that tries to enhance this new FM synthesis experience

For example, to create FM, you swipe one oscillator to another with your finger, and so on. At Superbooth 2026, the developers, including founder Kári Halldórsson, showcased the progress they have made over the past few months.

This includes a finished sound engine featuring four polyphonic FM synthesizers, a dedicated onboard FX engine with reverb, delay, chorus, and freezer per part, and the now-implemented 'The Playground'.

CHAIR Analog Waveguide | #Superbooth

video upload by CatSynth TV

"Max from CHAIR (Center for Haptic Audio Interface Research) joins us to talk about their new Analog Waveguide module. This module, which is based on a design by Michael Gerzon (inventor of Ambisonics) from the 1970s, combines BBD delay lines to create a two-dimensional resonator bank that can model a variety of percussion, string, and other sounds."

Friends and strangers we met.
We had some great laughs, good food a beer from time to time.
Enjoy!"

The new NONLINEAR LABS C25 presented by Tim Sund at Superbooth 2026.

video upload by Nonlinear Labs

"At Superbooth 2026, we presented three prototypes of our new instrument: the NONLINEAR LABS C25, a digital performance synthesizer and the younger brother of our flagship synthesizer, the C15. To highlight the performance capabilities of the new C25, keyboardist Tim Sund and his trio gave several short demonstrations at the Nonlinear Labs booth. This time, the focus wasn’t on showing the sound engine’s wide range of sounds—which is already well known from the C15—but rather on its expressive playing capabilities, quick switching between sounds, and overall suitability for live band use.

Osmose Eagan vs. CE comparison – Superbooth 2026

video upload by Let's Play Synths

"So I own the original Osmose – bought it used for slightly over 1000 € – and while it's fantastic, sounds very cinematic, dark (see this video [below] • 35 Expressive-E Osmose Presets – Let's Pla... ) and is nothing like any of my other synths … other than does have some problems. Nearly impossible to connect via MPE (especially over a single USB cable), very obscure settings and a sound engine that you need an engineer's degree to even start to understand. So when the CE was announced, I had a question or two 😁

Is it a better Blackbox? Or a Bento mini? - Superbooth 2026

video upload by Let's Play Synths

"I already own the Blackbox MK1 (and a Bluebox), I'm a big fan of this and it's an essential part of my studio. So when I saw the new form factor and the functions lend from the Bento, I had a few questions, of course. Blackbox MK2 will be out it about 2 months, costing about $649 & €699."
