For the mod, I first disassembled the synth, unplugged+unscrewed the keybed and removed it, and then sawed off the lower portion of the case that had previously housed the keyboard. That is it! I did not add a piece of wood to cap the bottom of the case or anything like that. So as you can see in the picture, the bottom of this "module" looks ugly. It would be very easy to cap it off with whatever material you like. In my case, the module was always positioned so that this open area was against a desk or stand, and as you can see in pics 1+2, the rough edges are hidden in this position. I'm including all of this info so that buyers understand what they're getting. This item is for people who either 1) don't care about the rough edges + open case or 2) intend to finish the mod more artfully.
In any case, it all works perfectly. Only selling as I've moved to a fully ITB setup and no longer have the need for this hardware. Potential NYC buyers are welcome to come test out the unit in Brooklyn."
