MIDJOURNEY AI AUDIO-VISUAL EXPERIMENT - (AI)'m Happy Now
video upload by Piotr Garbaczonek
"Thank you for tuning in!
Around a year ago, during the epidemic, I released a highly experimental piece of music called '(AI)'m Happy Now.' It was a piece of despair, anxiety, and feeling isolated in the world. Inspired heavily by the graphics from Blade Runner 2049 and the whole concept of the Blade Runner series. I had no method of conveying visually what I wanted to say with that song until MidJourney AI came out, so here are the first 3.5 minutes of it before it goes rather ridiculous electronically. This is precisely what I was thinking when writing this song, so please listen and enjoy:)
The narrative is based on three books: Philip K. Dick's Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, Dave Eggers's The Circle, and Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451.
//
There are just a few humans remaining on the globe. The year is 2100. Machines have taken control, everything is being closely monitored, and there is no such thing as privacy. Everything in the world is artificial, and all happiness has vanished. The last remaining true humans are hiding and wandering the world in the hopes of finding themselves and maybe fixing everything, but the machines are snooping around, eager to exterminate all humans. The narrative is a large metaphor for people's daily lives during the initial stages of the pandemic, and how they had to adjust to the unknown and (hopefully) eventually persevere through it. This narrative has no finale; it is merely the beginning.
Thank you for your support. I'm happy now;)
