Patch Notes:

- Bandpass with Filter FM from VCO1. Removing the white patch cable from the “Mix Out” switches to Low Pass Filter

- Velocity to Filter Cutoff (Bandpass). Random velocities per note sent from Ableton for movement “Mix Out” unplugged switches to Low Pass Filter

- Dual Saw’s from both VCO’s with both levels turned up to 100%. This gives some amazing saturation and changes the way the resonance interacts with the filter. Slight Filter FM from VCO1

- Heavily overdriven Lead / Bass from both the VCO Levels and the master Drive control

- Velocity to Filter Cutoff- carefully set in Ableton to make melodic timbres depending on the amount via Filter “FM1” control. Filter FM from VCO2, and also VCO1 FM from VCO2. Maximum resonance

- This was not multi-tracked, and no other drum sounds were used. This is all just one Malevolent! “Output” is patched into “Aux Input” and turned up to max value- Another cool way to overdrive the synth. Velocity is controlling Filter Cutoff- So with a combination of Low and High MIDI notes, you are able to make Kick Drum / Percussion sequenced. VCO1 is set to Triangle, and is getting FM via VCO2

- LFO Square wave modulating the pitch of VCO1 for a slight “Chip Tune” octave effect. Pitch Envelope of VCO2 being tweaked for ‘Riser’ kind of sound

- A simple, fat lead sound with Square / Saw waveforms selected on both VCO’s. VCO1 FM via VCO2 for some additional grit and bite. Medium Overdrive setting with Both oscillators at max to also overdrive the mixer section.

- “Drone” mode FM fun with Bandpass filter. VCO1 FM via VCO2, and Filter FM via VCO1. This simple patching can lead to some endless sound FX possibilities.

- Overdriving the oscillators at max into the mixer with VCO2 tuned ~19 semitones above VCO1. Creates some wonderful harmonics that sound a bit more “Wavetable” than an analog synth. Simple yet amazing sounding patch. Outro is all noise and resonance"
