Superbooth 2023: Decksaver - New Covers
video upload by sonicstate
"We spoke to Jake from Decksaver at Superbooth 2023 where they showcased a wide range of new covers. The company is known for providing high-quality polycarbonate covers for various musical equipment to keep them safe from damage. Some of their newest releases include the Decksaver for Summit, the 4ms 48 and 64x pods, the Roland Boutique range, the Erica Bassline, and the LXR. They also have covers for cheaper equipment like the Akai mini play and the Launchkey 37. Jake said that the production cycle takes about three months from research to pre-production, depending on the type and size of the equipment.
One of the unique features of Decksaver is that they offer custom covers working closely with the instrument manufacturers. They also use different weights of polycarbonate material depending on the equipment's size and type, with prices ranging from £15 to £120. Decksaver's covers are favored by many musicians, including a famous artist who saved thousands of pounds worth of equipment from damage due to a leak in his studio by using Decksaver covers."
