"The Roland V-Synth XT is an extended version of the original V-Synth synthesizer. It features an advanced sound engine that combines Variable Oscillator Technology (VOT), COSM modeling, and PCM sampling. This combination allows you to create a wide variety of sounds, from classic analog-style tones to complex and evolving textures.

Key features of the Roland V-Synth XT include:

1. Variable Oscillator Technology (VOT): This technology enables you to manipulate the characteristics of the sound in real-time, giving you the ability to morph between different waveforms and create dynamic and evolving timbres.

2. COSM Modeling: The V-Synth XT includes COSM (Composite Object Sound Modeling) technology, which allows you to model various aspects of acoustic and electronic instruments for realistic and expressive sounds.

3. PCM Sampling: You can import your own samples and manipulate them using the V-Synth XT's extensive editing capabilities, including time-stretching, pitch-shifting, and granular synthesis.

4. Multi-Mode: The V-Synth XT can function as a synthesizer, sampler, and audio processor, making it a versatile tool for sound design, music production, and live performance.

5. Effects and Processing: It offers a range of high-quality effects and processing options, including filters, modulation, and spatial effects, to further shape and enhance your sounds.

6. User-Friendly Interface: The V-Synth XT features an intuitive interface with a touchscreen display, making it easier to navigate and edit your patches and settings.

7. Connectivity: It includes various audio and MIDI connections, allowing you to integrate it into your existing setup and use it alongside other gear.

Overall, the Roland V-Synth XT is a creative tool for musicians and sound designers who want to explore unique sonic possibilities and push the boundaries of sound creation."

  1. One small pity about the V-Synth XT is that, while the Time Trip pad can be emulated on the touch screen, they left off the D-Beam. How can I has D-Beam without D-Beam? How? Say it ain't so, Ma.
