The version 1.8 firmware of the 3rd Wave includes a powerful new enhancement to the sonic capabilities of the synth, giving it the ability to support sampling. With this, we believe we have added the missing piece to its PPG heritage enabling you to achieve the sampled sounds you could get with a PPG Waveterm System."
