If I play some Mozart, why is it not called a cover?
ReplyDeleteHey gridsleep. Retro-Dade here. Performing/playing a piece of written music is that: “a performance”—even if you’re just practicing in your bedroom. Recreating a performance note for note trying to make it sound exactly the original performance/recording is a type of a cover. You can also cover a song and put your own spin on it, but it’s still a cover. Hope that helps. Keep playing Mozart! :D
