Moog One | Sound Bank Vol. 1 by Synth Universe
video uploads by Synth Universe
"In this video I play custom sounds created for the Moog One synthesizer. I demo patches 1 - 32 from the Synth Universe Moog One Sound Bank Volume 1: a bank of 64 pro quality patches containing a wide range of pads, strings, brass, poly synths, keys, ambient and soundscapes.

Any effects you hear on the sounds in this video are internal to Moog One. I mainly use delay and/ or reverb and several patches use no effects at all. I generally do not use the chorus and modulation effects as they colour the sound too much (in fact my main use of the chorus is set at 0% mix to add gain to a patch). No external processing was applied in the making of this video.
Sound bank notes
These Moog One Sound Banks are the culmination of 5 years owning and extensively using this incredible synthesizer. I have worked hard to create high quality, interesting and playable sounds which exploit the sweet spots of Moog One and have the potential to take your music in new directions.
When I buy an expensive analog polysynth, I don't expect it to sound like a digital wavetable synthesizer. So although the One has an extremely powerful modulation matrix, I've focused on exploiting the analog sound for power and richness and for a wide range of timbres, rather than relying on modulation and effects. The flexibility of the filters, and the ability to apply both oscillator and filter FM, ring modulation and hard sync simultaneously to multiple layers already extends the palette of sounds that Moog One can create.
For expression, most of the patches use a combination of modulation applied to the mod wheel, the XY pad and aftertouch, to a lesser or greater degree depending on the sound. The mod wheel is most useful for either fading in levels of modulation (e.g. vibrato) or signal (e.g. fading in an oscillator) or increasing/ decreasing filter cutoff. The XY pad does the same thing in 2 dimensions so is very useful in making the filters interact in interesting ways. Aftertouch is often used where a sound benefits from controlling vibrato, filter brightness or other parameters from the keyboard. Overall, musicality, playability and retaining the core sound have been my priorities in making these patches.
All of the sounds featured in 'The Soul of Moog One' part 1 and part 2 videos are included in these two sound banks.
I really hope these sounds inspire you to make more beautiful music!
