Analogue Solutions TC5000 Synthesizer: "Pulse Diver" Sequence No. 416
video upload by Analogue Solutions
"Here’s a new single sequence, "Pulse Diver" from the Analogue Solutions #TC5000 Patch Pin Matrix Synthesizer—recorded with no external instrumentation, FX, or processing. It demonstrates how you could build a track from a single analogue sequence, if desired.
An #arp2600 kick was used live and clocked from the TC5000. Every other sound in this video is TC5000 live."
"With the TC5000’s vast sonic range, no single video can fully showcase its capabilities. We’ll share more sequences to highlight different aspects of its sound design potential.
About the Patch:
The TC5000's pin matrix provides extensive routing options for highly intricate and dynamic patches. A single pin can introduce subtle nuances or completely transform the sound.
In fact, the complexity of just one patch could warrant an entire essay!
In this sequence:
You'll need speakers with bass 🔊
This is a faster tempo sequence with percussive elements. The envelopes are very tight, giving the synth a characteristic sound.
-The MIDI to CV Converter module 5088 was utilised for connectivity to a Keystep keyboard. The Note Loop Sequencer on this module was used for the basic pattern of the repeating bass sound.
-A simple sequence from the 5054 Sequencer modulates pitch for Oscillator 2 (VCO Module 5004) and is supplemented by waveforms from the other 2 Oscillator modules.
-Oscillator 3 features a separate sequence from the 5054. Both are manually faded in during the performance.
-Dual filters—the VCF-Multi (5047, SEM-style) and VCF-LP-CEM (5012, low-pass)—are actively modulated by the sequencer’s preset voltages.
-White noise is introduced via the Dual Noise / Random module 5032.
-Modulation variations are done in real-time via the vast pin matrix on the TC5000. One pin can dramatically alter a sequence.
-An ARP 2600 kick sound can be heard running alongside the TC5000. This was clocked via the TC's Convenience jack. The Convenience jack is not wired to the module's circuits. It is an independent jack input that allows you to take signals in or out of the matrix panel.
More sequences will follow, exploring different possibilities with the TC5000."
