SUPERBOOTH 26 Set for May 7 - 9, 2026
Press release follows:
Berlin, the 6th of August 2025
Following the SUPERBOOTH25 in May of this year, the SUPERBOOTH BERLIN is excited to be able to confirm the date for the next edition of the world’s largest trade fair and festival for electronic musical instruments:
The SUPERBOOTH26 will be happening from the 7th to the 9th of May 2026 at the FEZ-Berlin.
The 2026 date will also mark the ten year anniversary of the SUPERBOOTH as an independent festival and trade fair for electronic musical instruments — all the
more reason to celebrate!
Reflecting back on this year’s SUPERBOOTH25, the SUPERBOOTH is happy to report that this year’s edition was again a big success overall that brought together more guests and exhibitors than any previous SuperBooth, with over 8800 attendees, as well as 301 exhibitors from 31 countries celebrating the practice and culture of electronic musical instruments across three days.
With overwhelmingly positive feedback across the board from visitors, exhibitors and the press, the SUPERBOOTH’s singular combination of a trade fair and festival has once again proved its unique appeal and staying power, even beyond the world of hardware synthesizers, since software and pro audio — with 38 exhibitors from 9 countries in the pro audio area — have now also firmly established themselves at the SUPERBOOTH.
As in previous years, the eight exhibition areas of the SB25 were characterized by a special atmosphere of passion and industry exchange, especially since the exhibiting smaller manufacturers and brands were all personally present to showcase their latest innovations and prototypes in person — a diversity of brands and technology unparalleled by any other electronic instrument trade fair.
The concert programming of the SB25 was also a step up from previous years, featuring a high caliber, three-day concert lineup with performances from internationally renowned artists like Surgeon, JakoJako, Dasha Rush and Mathew Jonson, the SUPERBOOTH residents Tunegirl, Alexander Spree and Mark Verbos, as well as special concerts by the Studio for Electroacoustic Music of the Berlin Academy of Arts and the Modular Synthesizer Ensemble, which, thanks to the support of the Miller-Zillmer Foundation, was now a part of SuperBooth for the eighth time.
In addition to its numerous lecture concerts and pro-audio presentations with renowned brands and manufacturers, the SB25 also hosted a rich and expanded workshop program — ranging from beginner workshops and workshops for women and nonbinary people, to DIY soldering workshops, to special workshops on topics such as field recording and tape loops.
New this year was a series of masterclasses and presentations by well-known artists, hosted in collaboration with Echio.co on the ADAM Audio “Immersive Arena“ stage.
However, organising a large-scale event like the SUPERBOOTH — a fully independent event from the very beginning, hosted without major brand deals or sponsorships — also always comes with new and unique challenges. This year, one of the major hurdles was a significant rise in costs related to necessary event logistics snd resources.
As one of the SUPERBOOTH‘s core missions is, and will continue to be, providing affordable exhibition opportunities to smaller brands and manufacturers — while also continuing to develop the musical and cultural programming — the SUPERBOOTH’s event concept will be under review for 2026, with an exploration of possible adjustments and opportunities in order to adapt to various new and ongoing developments.
More details on the upcoming SUPERBOOTH26, as well as the date for the start of the ticket pre-sale, will follow later in the year.
