"WELSON RITMO - 1980?
The successor to the Welson Band is a colorful device with great analog sounds albeit slightly minimal variety or modulation offerings.
The video probably has the information you need so please watch the whole thing - we can't provide better answers than you find in the video itself.
Let's do a basic rundown here :
The thumbnail shows you the siblings together : The Welson Ritmo and The Welson Band - both machines made by Italian instrument maker Welson.
The Ritmo offers 4 instrument sections with individual volume controls and mute buttons :
Analog drum machine with 12 patterns
Bass section with 2 sounds and 2 bass lines
Chords section with 2 sounds
Arpeggio with 2 sounds and 2 harmonies with decay control
Each rhythm has its own auto accompaniment and arpeggio pattern.
The keyboard controls the chord or key in which the melodic sections play, just like on the Elgam Carousel, the Elka Wilgamat, the Godwin Drummaker 32 and 45, the Bohm Solist, the Wersimatic 24, MTI Auto-Orchestra and other auto accompaniment units of the era.
Do you like rare Italian drum machines, auto accompaniment units, string machines and synthesizers?
The VINTAGE AUDIO INSTITUTE ITALIA website is pretty much a catalog of odd gear, photos and descriptions of cool machines you might not know about so head over there : https://www.vintageaudioinstitute.com/"
