Foltek Mescaline and POM 400 Part 2: Will it Techno?

video upload by Infin-D

"The patch here is basically the same as the last video, but I increased the tempo on the Mescaline trigger sequencer, tightened up the envelopes on the POM 400, and routed some modulation from the POM sample & hold to the Mescaline percussion voices. The sawtooth oscillator on the POM once again provides a dissonant, chirpy counterpoint.

All audio from the Mescaline is routed through the POM, gets some compression and reverb from the Zoom MS70 cdr+, and delay from the Korg NTS-1.

Recorded live on the Zoom L6, audio normalized in Audacity."

Foltek Mescaline and POM 400: Melodic Modular Magic

video upload by Infin-D

"The Folktek Mescaline lives up to its name, it reliably takes me to magical, trippy places. It's biggest weakness is the 'Channel' module, which generates rich polyphonic tones, but lacks envelope control, so basically it's a melodic drone. Enter the Teenage Engineering POM 400, with its dual envelope generators and VCA's. Now I can route the Mescaline voices through it, and triggered by its sequencer clock I can get nice snappy, plucky melodies- modular magic.

The Mescaline melodies and percussion are accompanied by the POM saw wave oscillator, outgoing audio gets some compression and reverb from the Zoom MS70 cdr+, and delay from the Korg NTS-1.

Recorded live on the Zoom L6, audio normalized in Audacity.
