First Steps with OXI One MKII / EP. 14 Saga Mode

video upload by OXI Instruments

First Steps with OXI One series

"Saga is a new sequencing mode introduced in the Nigrán 2.0 firmware update.
Inspired by stage sequencing, Saga breaks away from the traditional step grid and lets you compose using stages with independent durations, notes, and performance parameters. From evolving melodies and unusual phrasing to chord progressions and polyrhythmic interactions, Saga opens up a completely new approach to creating music.
In this video, we'll explore the Saga workflow, stage durations, repetition and accumulator engines, chord sequencing, fractional timing, and creative techniques to help you generate unique musical ideas.

Saga Mode is featured in the new Nigrán 2.0 firmware update, available now through the OXI App."
