In this firmware revision. Lauri iterated on the code that holds notes on while you’re sustaining a touch.

The last firmware revision improved noise performance, but led to a large increase in dropped notes. Is it possible to improved the noise without dropping to many notes?

Based on this jam, it seems like the answer is yes. Flexur felt very physical. Dare I say: I felt like I was starting to shred on it. I was playing most of my bag of ideas from jamming on “my funny valentine”. The chromatic descending bass line is very comfortable for an intermediate player like me, so I keep getting pulled back to it. I hope that more advanced players will be able to find more variety in chord changes.

I like how this video shows a few different ideas about how to arpeggiate and play chords. I also play this slightly corny riff that just wiggles between 5 and b5. It shows how with a little bit of pizzaz or personality the simplest motifs can stay interesting for a long time. That’s only possible on an expressive interface.
