Yamaha CS30 service and external clock modification
video upload by Jörg Schaaf
"The internal sequencer of the CS30 does not sport an external sync input for the internal sequencer. Furthermore, the CS30 circuitry is designed for 15 Volt gate signals. Eurorack synthesizers are specified with 5 Volt trigger signals. The modification adds an external input at the backside of the synth. When you set the sequencer to manual mode, the external input is active. It does not replace the manual button. Instead it's adding a second sync source. That means, you can still select the starting step of the sequencer line with the manual button.
Are you looking for a synthesizer workshop or do you want to add mods to your vintage synth? Then maybe my synthesizer-service.de website is a good starting point.
